Job Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of one large primary warehouse facility and two additional warehouses supporting a global chemical manufacturing business. This role owns all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, internal material movements, staff leadership, third-party coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

• Lead operations across three warehouse locations, ensuring consistent standards and performance.
• Own all shipping and receiving activities for raw materials, intermediates, packaging, and finished goods.
• Ensure DOT, OSHA, EPA, and hazardous materials compliance.
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and physical inventories.
• Coordinate material flow between production, warehouses, and third-party locations.
• Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and associates across multiple shifts.
• Drive safety, continuous improvement, and cost control initiatives.
• Track and report KPIs including safety, OTIF, labor productivity, and inventory accuracy.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or regulated environment.
• Proven experience managing multiple warehouse locations.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling and compliance.
• SAP experience required, including transactional execution and reporting (WM/EWM, MM, or similar modules).
• Experience leading salaried and hourly teams across multiple shifts.
• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience with ERP-integrated WMS systems.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience.
• Experience managing third-party warehouses and logistics providers.

Environmental Restrictions

• Ability to perform essential job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, facilities, and external job sites.
• Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, moving equipment, and uneven terrain.
• Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and operating tools or equipment as necessary to perform job responsibilities.
• Regular attendance and adherence to company safety policies are required.
